His son, Allaye who chose to come back and live in his native country a long time ago. Both have been involved in their project with much complicity for many years. Pastoral life is still widely spread in Africa and horses should take a large part in its development. Our purpose is to maintain them in harmony with an environement where everything is still possible... |

Quite understandably , tourists have recently become more and more reluctant to choose Africa as their destination because of the international situation and especially the events which occurred in Africa. Yet we can testifly that the reality is completely different from what we are made to believe. Indeed, we spent the first three months of 2011 in Mauritania, Senegal, Mali and Burkina Faso and we definitely had a great time there. We always felt safe and could enjoy again and again this wonderful ability African people have to welcome foreigners so warmly. We have selected a few good addresses for you to stay overnigth or more ! |

Much more than offering another choice of destination or another way to experience exotic and sunny sensations in a far away country, our treks "adventure on horseback" in Africa contribute to maintain the part horses can play in African pastoral life. If horses are used to lead tourists to remote places and villages, they are first and foremost the perfect haulage animals for an adapted agriculture. That's what our trecks arm at : - to promote these environment friendly partners for African villagers which could also prevent them from the error of over mecanism. - to preserve the symbol of power and nobility of horses among local traditions. Horses are our best passeport to meet this pastoral life. Thank you for helping us and joining us ! Located in the center of the "Lozère" départment, Aspres is a hamlet where the riding hotel "La Boulene" used to be in full operation for many years. Aspres is still the ideal starting point for a new route of discovrey in Lozère that we will be glad to organise with you around La Margeride L'Aubrac Le Mont Lozère Les Cévennes Les Grands Causses
